ACT II: VERONA, ITALY
- SCENE i: Near Capulet orchard after party on Sunday night.
Benvolio and Mercutio leave the Capulet party, but they can't find Romeo and they finally give up and go home. While Romeo is spying this event and when they leave, Romeo goes to the balconey of Juliet.
- SCENE ii: Underneath Juliet's balconey on early Monday morning.
Romeo stays back to meet Juliet under her balconey, they both talk in loving sweet words about each other. They also make vows adn decide to get married. Juliet tells him to pick a time and place for a ceromony. He answerby having the ceremony at nine and he will send a messanger for the where through the Nurse. Romeo will look for Friar Laurence at this time for the rite.
- SCENE iii: Frair Laurence's cell on Monday morning.
Friar Laurence is choosing herbs early in the morning, he is also showing and laking about the dangerous herbs that could kill a person instantly. Then Romeo arrives and asks friar to perform the cermony, the friar is a little confused because he thought Romeo loved Rosaline and now he has changed his mind so quickly. Anyway Friar Laurence will agree hoping that this marriage will bring the two families together.
- SCENE iv: A street in Verona on Monday morning.
Mercutio and Benvolio discuss about Tybalt's challenge to fight Romeo, and how Tybalt is an excellent swordsman. Then Romeo arrives and Mercutio and him and a little fun insulting each other. After that the Nurse arrives and the MOntagues make fun of her a little bit. Then the Nurse sees Romeo in private and tells him of Juliet's agreement on the marriage, and the cermony will be in the afternoon today.
- SCENE v: Capulet's orchard, Monday afternoon.
The Nurse, with the information about the cermony comes in to Juliet, who has been waiting not very patiently. First the Nurse acts tired and teases with Juliet, but finally she tells her when and where Romeo will meet her and meet who.
- SCENE vi: Friar Lauerence's cell, still Monday afternoon.
Romeo first arrives, and the friar and he discuss about the marriage being dissolved because of their families's fueds, but Romeo is still anxious to marry Juliet and the friar wants the two families together. Then Juliet arrives and they all proceed to complete the wedding.
